Warm up

Start the warm up by walking in the space then gradually get into a run then gradually get back into a walk

( focus on looking at each other and the space while running and make sure our body is in a good posture)

While walking we start to notice our bones and direct our attention to all the joints of our body

Scanning from bottom to top, feet, knees, pelvis, spine rib cage neck shoulders elbow wrists and head,

Moving each body part as we mention it and discover the range of motion and all the possibilities of movement for this body part.

A short improvisation with all those body parts, (making clear choices, am I moving one part and the rest of my body is at rest, am i moving more than one part, are these body parts in a clear connection)

Adding awareness to plan

Still moving with focus on skeleton but thinking about direction of my movement in space and the plan I am moving in, standing, sitting squatting, laying on the ground, jumping in the air, trying to notice my habits and visit change.

Building on this guided improvisation by asking questions and drawing attention to; My body, it's orientation in the space, what am I producing as I move in the space and what is my relation to my fellow peers in this space

Discovering the other, dancing in conversation with my fellow peers,

What am I communicating as I explore my body in motion , what am I receiving and how does it change my communication and need to express

Writing movement
 +
Each participant will Compose a small sentence
 +
Each one will take the time to show it to the rest of the group
 +
Then according to the material presented the trainer can have suggestions related to the dynamics of the movement, what it communicates and so on
 +
The participant will experiment with her/ his choreography and do it in conversation with another peer as the rest of the group observe
 +
Gradually the number of participants showing their movement will increase till the whole group is invited to dance together and borrow movements and ideas from each other.

To end the session

We will cool down by laying on the ground and scan our bodies while noticing our breathing and observing the different sensations we have after this journey.
