Major duties and responsibilities:
  −
Assist the M&E Expert in reviewing, updating  and maintaining the organisation’s monitoring and evaluation system, based on the organisation’s documents- logframes- indicators.
     −
This will include the following tasks:

*Excellent communication skills.
Identify sources of data, collection methods, who collects data, frequency of data collection, estimated cost of collection and who analyzes it.
  −
Develop criteria and evaluation scheme for the programs’ outcomes and impact.
  −
Assist in the preparation of detailed M&E budget and calendar of M&E activities.
  −
2) Execute M&E activities included in the Annual Work Plan, with particular focus on results and impact. This will include the following tasks:
  −
Assist in designing and reviewing the framework for the physical and process monitoring of programs’ activities.
  −
Promote a results-based approach for monitoring and evaluation, emphasizing outcomes and impact.
  −
Prepare consolidated M&E reports including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks during different programs’ implementation and providing specific recommendations.
  −
Insure that monitoring data are discussed in the appropriate forum and in a timely fashion in terms of implications for future action.
  −
Research and develop educational assessments.
  −
Coordinate regular visits to the field to support implementation of M&E system and to identify where adaptations might be needed.
  −
Facilitate, act as a resource person, and join if required any external supervision and evaluation missions.
  −
Monitor the follow up of evaluation recommendations.
     −
