Train them on forming an opinion and finding a way in order to express that opinion
Then have the team choose a style or genre that they wish to use to put forward their ideas/message
With an aim and style planned, the team begins to form a rough story, that accomplishes the aim of the film If the team is having trouble coming up with a story, they can look at/take ideas from movies that have a similar message to theirs, they can then adapt the movie's story for their film
Then by the end of the first day of writing, the team, along with the teachers develop the story into a plot and have a set of characters the are in the film
With a plot and characters in mind the team would use the remainder of the team writing a script of the dialogue between the characters The point of this section of the course is, by the end, to have a clear idea of the film like (how it will look?, how long?, what's its purpose, etc.)
