* For the seminars/sessions we should go prepared with both the Equipment and the Software we are going to be using. A projector + its remote + VGA cable, speakers, couple of headphones, a laptop, GSM router + USB Modem with at least 7GB of traffic, all the apps and tools needed for the session/demo plus a couple of USB stick to spread the applications around.

* I suggest we build a laptop and equip it with the software we use for such sessions and DEDICATE this machine totally for such events.
    +
* If we are to start building and replicating our studio setup we have to UNIFY our builds. This should make it easier for us to deploy and support these studios. It will also make the OS X installation easier to both install and repair since all we need -in case of a system failure- is to recover from a disk image. Unifying means using the same  hardware for the editing machines, same set of editing/recording/software, same sound card ( I recommend adopting the M-Audio C600 from now on and dumping any Firewire based card), same cabling, etc.

* We cannot hand over the equipment in a 30-minutes-quick-session. We should involve the studio staff and a techie or two from the same city/area in the process of building and setting up the studio. Preferably someone with interest in Audio.
    +
* We should consider including network equipment in the package we give to similar groups. Stable network/internet connectivity should make it easier for us when remote support is needed.

* We should compile a brief guide on how to maintain and troubleshoot Hackintosh/studio problems. This should come handy for techies -who are not used to build Hackintoshes- supporting those studios.

We should NEVER buy cheap equipment or parts. NEVER. It saves a little money and wastes a lot of time.
