ADEF Financial and Administration Manager - March 2013


ADEF general Oversee the financial operations of ADEF and ensure timely and accurate financial reports in different formats to fulfill all financial reporting needs. Oversee and train on all financial practices including cash management, payroll, financial disbursements, ledgers etc. Provide, project management, Human Resource Management policies, logistics, travel and other areas of administration Oversee staff contracts. Manage all insurance operations Approve petty cash expenditures Supervise the entering of financial information and maintaining all financial records for projects and for the organization Provide input in donor agreements Manage financial control, prepare and analyze budgets, develop financial reports, and make recommendations to the organization on budget expenditures. Obtain approvals from the Director and from the donors on all procurements and purchases for the projects and for the organization. Manage all taxation procedures and issues Manage social security procedures and payments for staff


Donor specific responsibilities Provide financial inputs for proposal development, project management, human resource management policies, logistics, travel and other areas of administration. Check donor contracts in financial terms (check size and time of installments, ADEF’s contribution, and financial management guidelines attached to contract). Manage all procurement procedures to satisfy each individual donor Ensure that all financial reporting is completed on time and submitted to donors. Prepare and maintain donor funds flow sheet and reporting schedule Oversee the financial audits of all projects of the organization. Obtain approvals from the Director and from the donors on all procurements and purchases for the projects and for the organization Monitor the expenditures to ensure that program funds are utilized appropriately by the close of the fiscal year Liaise with Legal experts and Ministry of Social Solidarity officer

Camp specific responsibilities Prepare camp budget in coordination with camp manager and coordinator Oversee rental of equipment in coordination with network manager and camp director Oversee travel expenditure in coordination with administrative officer Oversee venue reservations in coordination with administrative officer and camp coordinator Manage on camp expenditure in coordination with camp director and coordinator Oversee Trainers Contracts in coordination with camp director and coordinator


Job Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Administration or higher Five years experience Proficiency in Arabic and English spoken and written is a must Fulltime Position ADEF main office: Moqattam, Cairo
